07 GS Papers at ‘Advanced Level’ will be subject-wise based on NCERTs, NIOS, and Standard Books; 05 GS ‘Comprehensive Tests’ will be full-length and 03 CSAT comprehensive papers based on the experience of recent UPSC CSAT papers.
Papers at ‘Advanced Level’ will cover Critical Concepts and major Facts from NCERTs, NIOS Documents, PIB, The Hindu, and YOJANA and those will be aimed at 50 percent ‘Moderate to Difficult’ questions asked in UPSC CSE prelims.
Apart from Standard Books, tests at the “Comprehensive Level” will include Daily-PIB, PRS, ORF, The Hindu, YOJANA, Kurukshetra, ‘Annual Reports’ published by “Ministries, Government Departments & Government Institutions”, and International Bodies. Here, NPTS aims to cover the rest of 50 percent of the ‘Difficult to Critical Level’ questions asked in UPSC CSE Prelims.
Every paper will have at least 30 questions from Current Affairs. Comprehensive tests will have current affairs up to date.
A rigorous exercise (UPSC Prelim 2013 - 2023) has been done to understand recent trends of UPSC Prelim questions by Nirman IAS R&D Department.
